At McDonough Dolmaya Language Solutions, we care about the quality of your texts. By relying on us for your language needs, you'll be working directly with an experienced language professional who holds a BA and an MA in Translation. The project manager is also the lead anglophone translator and reviser. She will ensure your texts are written in lucid, idiomatic, error-free English that effectively targets your intended audience.
About the Project Manager 
In 2005, Julie McDonough Dolmaya began working as a freelance translator, reviser and writer while completing her PhD in Translation Studies. In 2007, she became a certified French to English translator with the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ). One year later, she launched McDonough Dolmaya Language Solutions to meet the increasing demand for high-quality translations into English.
Julie McDonough Dolmaya holds a BA in French-English Translation from York University and an MA in Translation from the University of Ottawa. In November 2008, she submitted her PhD dissertation to the University of Ottawa and successfully defended it on May 1st, 2009. She has worked as a lexicographer and researcher, taught university-level translation courses and published articles on translation and website localization in The Translator, Meta, and other peer-reviewed, academic journals. Her curriculum vitae, list of publications and a description of her current research interests are available on her website: www.mcdonough-dolmaya.ca About the other language professionals on the team María Sierra Córdoba Serrano obtained her BA in Translation from the Universidad de Málaga (Spain) in 2001, her MA in Translation from the University of Ottawa in 2004, and her PhD in Translation Studies from the University of Ottawa in 2008. She has taught French to Spanish and English to Spanish translation courses part-time at the University of Ottawa since 2004. Other translators and proofreaders occasionally provide freelance services for McDonough Dolmaya Language Solutions. |
